| ExpatPaul | Apr 7, 2007 3:43pm | It's the same film. The original title is Haute Tension, the direct translation of which is High Tension. The film was then released internationally as Switchblade Romance.
Retitling films is something that happens quite frequently. |

| ExpatPaul | Apr 8, 2007 2:15am | It looks to me like it's Netflix doing something strange. According to the IMDB, both titles refer to the same film which has an NC-17 rating in the US.
Netflix is listing High Tension as having an R rating and Switchblade Romance as being unreleased and not rated.
According to Amazon, the unrated version is listed as being the directors cut. |

I'm pretty sure they wouldn't have two different listings for Donnie Darko and the Donnie Darko director's cut, like Netflix does. But thanks for checking Amazon, I didn't think of that. |
