Formulaic and very silly B-movie, but slightly above average and boasts plenty of gore/slime, for those so inclined. Shamelessly rips off Shivers, Night of the Living Dead and Society.

It's supposed to be silly and formulaic. Duh.
It's a "homage" to the silly and formulaic b-movies of the 80's.

Nathan Fillion is bloody marvellous.

I realise that DH, and I did enjoy it in those terms. But in homaging its sources, the filmmakers seem to have neglected to include much, if anything, in the way of original ideas.
