| | vexxtra | Apr 6, 2005 9:27pm | | Anyone's thoughts on the new Amityville? The original scared the bejesus outta me when I was 8 and I've always been obsessed with it kind of. I even took pics of the house when I went to NYC (it's on Long Island). I had to see it in person. They were actually remodeling it. The shutters were beige and they'd taken out those scary "eye" windows and replaced them with rectangular ones. But it was definitely the same house. Can't fool me! |

Like a seed that is nourished by fear it will begin to grow and flourish in an enviornment of uncertain imaginings. It builds upon itself within weakened psychological underpinnings. That's what they said. There have been some frightening reports recently. Have you read any of this ? I'll look for the links. If you have any further info will you pass it on to me ? |

Jay Anson, who wrote the book that the movie was based upon, told journalist Rick Moran on several occasions "You're a journalist, therefore you have to follow the rules of journalism. I'm a writer and your rules simply do not apply to me"
So, it's a shame, but it's all entertaining bollocks, I'm afraid. |
